Specialising in four main therapies
Emotional Freedom Technique
Emotional Freedom Technique works on the premise that the quality of a person’s life is directly related to a their emotional health. EFT can be a very effective tool used in restoring this balance. Often by resolving emotional issues we make way for healing to occur on other levels too. There is vital energy that flows through the body, if it is disrupted it throws the balance out. We are made of energy. When we are calm, the energy flows (ease) but when we have negative thoughts, beliefs, feelings and emotions we disrupt the energy (disease). Tapping on acupressure points whilst focusing on particular emotions, sensations or events can assist us in releasing these disruptions.
Some benefits include;
Clearing of fears eg. flying, dogs, spiders
Anxiety management
Enhancing performance both academically and physically
PTSD management
Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis is a state where learning and openness to change are most likely to occur. Trance is a common natural state experienced by everyone. Daydreaming is one of our most familiar states. Meditation, prayer or performing exercise may also induce trance states. A person is aware of the internal experience more than the external experience. By becoming comfortable, narrowing and focusing attention, using repetition and monotony, a state can be achieved to allow the client to become more receptive to ideas and suggestions.
Some benefits include;
Easing of emotionally based problems such as depression, relationship separation, guilt and worry
Enhancement of confidence with public speaking and job interviews
Reprogramming to overcome addictive behaviours such as smoking and overeating
Neuro Linguistic Programming
NLP is the study of how what we do in our head affects our behaviour and body. It is a technique that uses the language of the mind to consistently achieve specific outcomes.
Neuro - mind communicates with the body all of the time. The nervous system processes our experience via five senses. Visual, auditory, kinesthetic, olfactory and gustatory.
Linguistic - Language and other nonverbal communication systems through which our neural representations are coded and ordered and create meaning such as pictures, sounds, feelings, tastes, smells and self talk.
Programming is discovering and utilising the programs we run for others and ourselves to achieve our desired outcomes.
Some benefits include;
Effective goal setting
Rapport building strategies and techniques
Clearer communication
Psychotherapy
Human Givens Psychotherapy represents a set of ideas that provide the framework for understanding emotional health and providing an effective and brief therapeutic approach to emotional disorders. The ideas focus on human needs and resources balance; the function of REM sleep phase: the brain as a pattern matching organ and the role emotions play in health, thinking and behaviour.
When a person is interacting with their environment effectively and using their resources appropriately and getting their needs met fully, they will enjoy emotional health. Problems arise when needs are not met or resources are not used appropriately.
Some benefits include;
Becoming resourceful in a needs deficient environment
Developing strategies to deal with physical damage more effectively
